hildren do NOT need to be toilet trained to attend First Years. We are a developmental school. The children in our community are typically toilet-trained between 2½ and 3½ years old. We want to respect the fact that often a child is ready for the structure and social interaction of a preschool program without being ready for toilet training. We will work together with you on this process. Our goal is to avoid unnecessary pressure on your child, meeting them at their developmental level and encouraging them to move forward at the pace that is appropriate for them.
